Why Derby House Dogs?

  • Chris and Emily are excellent, to say they understand dog behaviour is an understatement. They have managed to help train a 5 month old Cavapoo who is a feisty energetic ball of excitement. The group activities, really helped socialisation, alongside all the tips provided from addressing behaviours like jumping when excited, recall, being on a long line etc. What surprised me the most was how they explained dog psychology but in an understandable way.

  • Emily and Chris have both been brilliant in helping our 1 year old Cocker spaniel X rescue puppy work on his anxiety and reactivity around other dogs. Derby House Dogs have a brilliant set up allowing you to practice and train in a safe “real life” environment. Chris and his lovely dog Indie were a great stooge pair, and in this controlled environment with Emily right by my side to help both Herbert and myself, we have all felt more confident in handling our everyday encounters outside of training.
